What is the drain doing?
Pick the closest description. Each one leads to the service that deals with it, and every one of them starts with finding the cause.

Grouped the way the work actually splits: clearing a blockage and finding out why it happened, then repairing the pipe when clearing is not the answer.
Clearing and diagnosis
Where any blockage starts. What causes drains to block in Sydney, how each type is cleared and what it costs to put right.
Overflowing drains, sewage backing up and blocked toilets that cannot wait until morning.
A camera runs the length of the line and pinpoints the cause, the depth and the exact position of the fault.
A cutting head driven through the pipe to break up roots, grease and solid build-up.
Water at pressure scours the pipe wall clean rather than punching a hole through the blockage.
Scheduled cleaning for drains with a history of blocking, so a recurring problem becomes a planned visit.
Repair, pipes and property type
A new liner cured inside the old pipe. Trenchless, so the garden, the driveway and the slab stay where they are.
Where a line has collapsed or lost its shape, the damaged section is excavated and replaced.
Roots cut out of the line, and the opening they came through sealed.
Blocked and overflowing toilets in homes, offices and units, including shared lines between apartments.
When the main line is the problem, several fixtures go at once and sewage backs up into the property.
Yard pits, downpipes and stormwater lines that flood in heavy rain, cleared and inspected.
Cafes, restaurants, factories, offices and body corporate properties, on scheduled and emergency work.
General drain repairs and preventative pipe upkeep to keep drains flowing right through the year.
What the symptom usually means
The same blocked drain can have very different causes, and the cause decides the job. This is the shortest version of how we read it.
| What you are seeing | Usually means | Where to start |
|---|---|---|
| One fixture drains slowly | Grease, soap or hair building up in the branch line that serves it | Blocked Drains Sydney |
| Every fixture is slow and the floor waste gurgles | A blockage in the main sewer line rather than in any one fixture | Blocked Sewer |
| The blockage comes back every few months | Tree roots finding their way in through a crack or a failed joint | Tree Root Removal from Drains |
| Water pools in the yard after rain | A blocked or collapsed stormwater line, pit or downpipe | Blocked Stormwater Drains |
| A damp smell with no blockage you can see | A cracked or broken pipe leaking under the slab or the garden | CCTV Drain Inspection |
| Clearing works, then it fails again within weeks | The pipe itself is damaged, so clearing alone will not hold | Pipe Relining |
Where the symptom does not point clearly at one cause, the camera settles it. A CCTV drain inspection shows whether the line needs clearing or whether the pipe is damaged, which is the difference between a short job and a repair.

How the price works
There is no charge for coming out and looking at the problem.
Drain clearing starts at $69. What a job finally costs depends on where the blockage is and what is causing it.
You get the price before any work begins, and nothing goes ahead until you agree to it.
We take calls through the night, on weekends and on public holidays.
Common questions
How much does it cost to clear a blocked drain?
Blocked drains are cleared from $69 and there is no call-out fee, so nothing is charged for coming out to look.
What a job finally costs depends on where the blockage sits and what is causing it. A branch line full of grease is not the same job as a collapsed section under a driveway, which is why the price is confirmed with you before any work starts.
Which drain service do I actually need?
In most cases you do not have to decide. Start from what the drain is doing and we will work back to the cause.
Where the cause is not obvious from the symptom, a CCTV drain inspection is how it gets identified. The camera shows whether the line simply needs clearing or whether the pipe itself is damaged, and the recommendation follows from that rather than from guesswork.
Do you work at night and on weekends?
Yes. Overnight, at weekends and on public holidays.
If waste water is coming back up into the property, that is an emergency blocked drain and it should not wait until morning. Whatever the hour, the price is approved before any work begins.
Do you work on commercial and strata properties?
Yes. Cafes, restaurants, factories, offices and body corporate properties are all covered by commercial and strata drain cleaning, on both scheduled maintenance and emergency call-outs.
Strata work often involves shared lines between units, where one blockage affects several residents. Those lines are cleared and camera checked so the cause is recorded, not just cleared.
